            The University of Zurich (UZH) launches a new call for proposals within its Global Funding

            2026.
            This program supports initiatives that strengthen the influence of the UZH global network 
            collaboration with the University of Zurich’s network and priority partners.

            The UZH Global Funding Scheme supports faculties, departments, and professional service un
            and implementing joint initiatives with international partners that advance the objectives

            Global Strategy 2030.

            The scheme harnesses the global networking potential of the University of Zurich (UZH) com

            mobilizing scalable and
            high-impact bottom-up initiatives from researchers and units across the university, in par
            collaboration with Network and Priority Partners as well as relevant non-academic actors o

            interface between science, policy, and diplomacy.

            FundingThe scheme offers three distinct funding lines
            • Global Outreach Fund: Grants of up to CHF 5,000 to increase global visibility of UZH exc

            • Global Seed Fund: Grants of up to CHF 5,000 to help develop larger global initiatives 
            • Global Champion Fund: Grants ranging from CHF 20,000 to 60,000 to support projects with 
              for long-term institutional collaboration

            EligibilityWho is eligible to apply
            UZH academics and professional services staff, together with their counterparts from the N

            Priority Partners (over 70 institutions worldwide) and in the cases of the Global Outreach
            Champion Fund, from reputable policy organisations, policy research institutes or boundary
            are eligible to apply.


            • The main applicant must be affiliated with UZH.
            • At least one partner applicant must be on the list of UZH’s Network and Priority Partner

            • A reputable policy organization, policy research institute, or boundary organization wit
              experience in science-policy interfacing and international cooperation.
            • Applications must be submitted to UZH by the main applicant.
