Sussex European Partnership Development Fellowships (EPDF) supports individuals whose collaboration has the potential to create active, high-quality, and mutually beneficial links with European partners that help deliver the University of Sussex's strategy, Sussex 2025.

The program offers academics from the Charles University the opportunity to collaborate with similarly focused experts and academics from the University of Sussex. Activities can take place at both partner universities.
European Partnership Development Fellowships (EPDF) support individuals whose collaboration has the potential to ensure active, high-quality, and mutually beneficial links with European partners.
Within one year of the grant being awarded, the visit should lead to concrete outputs, such as:
publications or grant applications
joint workshops
mobility or teaching opportunities
The program is open to academic and professional staff working at the University of Sussex or selected European universities outside the United Kingdom, including the Charles University.
Participants in the program must have outstanding results commensurate with their career level.
There are no minimum requirements for length of employment.
