Charles University focuses not only on funding through the Fund for Strategic Partnerships. It also focuses on jointly funded projects, for example within the CENTRAL network and joint initial funding with the University of St Andrews, as well as closer cooperation with the University of Sussex. The aim of these activities is to strengthen cross-border cooperation in research, enable joint projects, publications, and events, create new research teams, support early-career researchers, and create an environment conducive to academic careers.
