As part of the project preparation and implementation, collaboration was established with the prestigious departments of the University Hospital Zurich, which is a member of the consortium and a key clinical partner of the OSIRIS project. In June 2026, the project proposal was submitted in the second application round of the ERA4Health partnership call “Investigator Initiated Clinical Trials in Cardiovascular, Autoimmune and Metabolic Diseases (Trials4Health 2026)”. The proposal is currently under evaluation.

The continuation of the project is fully justified given its significant contribution to the development of international collaboration and the establishment of strategic partnerships among leading European clinical centers. The project activities carried out to date have enabled the establishment and further strengthening of cooperation with the University Hospital Zurich, which represents a key consortium partner and makes a substantial contribution to the scientific excellence, organizational management, and overall quality of the project.

The collaborating teams are currently developing a long-term follow-up partnership through a joint project entitled “Clinical Characterisation of Inborn Errors of Immunity.” The project is being prepared in cooperation between Kinderspital Zurich, Motol University Hospital, and Homolka University Hospital, with substantial participation of the Second Faculty of Medicine, Charles University. As part of the project activities planned for 2027, a two-day scientific programme will be organized in Prague, bringing together experts from the participating institutions, including members of the Swiss research team.

The proposed activity aims to establish an interdisciplinary strategic research partnership between Charles University and the University of Zurich focused on developing the theoretical framework of Communicative Resilience, strenghtening long-term institutional cooperation, and creating the conceptual and methodolical foundations for the future Communicative Resilience Research Platform.

Findings from the comparative analysis will provide the empirical and conceptual basis for a joint scientific publication and will provide the conceptual foundation for the preparation of a Horizon Europe Cluster 2.

The joint project will be implemented through reciprocal research visits and methodological workshops involving the research teams of Charles University (CU) and the University of Zurich (UZH). The primary ambition of these collaborative activities is to finalize joint scientific publications and to prepare a proposal for an international research grant.

The proposed project aims to establish a long-term research collaboration between the Department of Probability and Mathematical Statistics at Charles University and the research group of Prof. HanlinShang at Macquarie University in the area of statistical methodology for distributional and density-valued data.

The collaboration will focus on the joint development of a theoretically grounded notion of statistical depth for density distributions, combining the complementary expertise of the two research groups in data depth theory, functional data analysis and distributional data analysis. The primary scientific outcome of the collaboration will be the preparation of a joint research paper, intended as a foundational contribution that will provide the basis for subsequent developments and future joint research projects.

The goal of the project is to initiate collaboration between the research groups of prof. David Kubiznak (CU) and prof. Daniel Terno (MU). The two groups have significant topic overlap - they both have contributed towards understanding of the (semi-)classical and quantum aspects of black holes - and naturally could greatly benefit from close collaboration. Especially interesting for U.K.'s group is to expand their research interests to "physical black holes" pushed forward by D.T.'s group.

The project aims to establish a strategic collaboration between the Department of Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology of the Second Faculty of Medicine, Charles University and Motol University Hospital, and the Macquarie University Hearing Research Centre in the field of pediatric hearing disorders research. The key project activity will be a research stay by a Charles University PhD student at Macquarie University, during which she will participate in a newly launched research project focused on evaluating the lifelong outcomes of individuals with hearing impairment following early intervention using the Listening and Spoken Language (LSL) approach.

The proposed activities will build on the complementary expertise of Hanáková and Solomon in desktop cineffid, videographic scholarship, and fiImmaking processes. Through reciprocal workshops, they will deve!op a shared analytical framework for examining contempo rary filmmaking workflows in the context of emerging production technologies focusing on generative At, resulting in jointly authored publications and other research outputs.The first workshop, hosted by Charles University and led by Solomon, witl focus on filmmaking processes.

The funds will be used in direct association with 1 month study research stay of Zuzana Navyjelová (CU) at Macqurie University.

The first component is a two day workshop. The programme will cover the principal digital methodologies The second component is an intensive period of collaborative work dedicated to completing two manuscripts for submission to leading Q1 journals. Working together in person will greatly accelerate the final stages of writing, data interpretation, and manuscript preparation, allowing us to submit both papers before the commencement of the next field season.

The planned activities include the organization of a summer school and two intensive block courses taught by leading international experts. Given that Greek papyrology is a relatively new field of study within the Czech academic environment, the involvement of distinguished foreign scholars is essential for the development of expertise and capacity in this area. Beyond the immediate educational benefits, the project seeks to establish a sustainable long-term partnership between Charles University and Macquarie University, with a particular focus on exploring the feasibility of a Joint PhD degree programme.

The objective of the mobility is to complete the project entitled “Floral Economic Spectrum: A Key to Understanding the Diversity of Alpine Plant Flowers,” which was initiated in the previous year. The project's tangible outcomes include herbarium specimens, scientific publications, and a graduate thesis.

The planned activities include a 2-3 week research and methodological visit by Professor Albrecht to Macquarie University (MQ), during which local facilities will be evaluated and field surveys will be conducted in both tropical and temperate climatic regions. In addition, a two-week visit by Professor Griffith to Charles University (CU) is planned during the breeding and hunting season. These activities are intended to establish a long-term partnership between the two universities and to prepare a cotutelle doctoral programme, jointly supervised by both professors.

Joint research collaboration and doctoral supervision project between CU and MQ.

The project aims to establish a new collaboration with Macquarie University, School of International Studies, focusing on overlapping research areas including geopolitics, propaganda, foreign information manipulation, influence operations, and FIMI. The planned activities include guest lectures delivered by Associate Professor Hejlová at MQ and the development of a joint international grant proposal.

The main part of the joint activities in 2026-2027 will be carried out in collaboration with the School of History and the School of Art History. The collaboration will focus on a biocodicology research project entitled “Traces of Use and Organic Residues in Medieval (Medical) Manuscripts.”

The Centre for Constitutionalism and Human Rights (CHR) at the Faculty of Law, Charles University, and the Centre for the Critical Reimagining of Human Rights (CCHR) at the University of St Andrews share a strong interest in developing a long-term partnership. This collaboration is envisaged to commence with two two-day workshops in 2026/2027, one hosted by the Faculty of Law, Charles University, and the other by the University of St Andrews. The initial activities will also include the development of a jointly taught course on human rights that integrates both legal and non-legal perspectives. Building on these activities, the partners intend to explore opportunities for a joint research project.

I have been in contact with the University since 2017. Following consultations with Professor John Hudson, Director of the Institute of Legal and Constitutional Research at the University of St Andrews, I plan to further develop cooperation between the Faculty of Law, Charles University, and the University of St Andrews' Institute of Legal and Constitutional Research.

This proposal builds on a burgeoning collaboration between Ian Miguel (IM), Roman Barták (RB) and Jiří Švancara (JŠ). The principal activity we propose is an intensive workshop in the Czech Republic in the Autumn of 2026. We plan for this to be a residential workshop outside Prague in order that our participants can focus fully on the research and exchange of ideas. This proposed workshop builds on top of our experience with a similar workshop held by the same CUNI group at Soběšice in 2024 also focusing on MAPF.

The collaboration is based on a long-term partnership that has already generated a range of outputs and tangible results. Current joint activities include the development of an innovative educational model focusing on student identity and belonging, as well as the preparation of a GAČR grant proposal for the 2027 funding round.

The output of the project will bring significant progress in the quality of SiC electronic devices and radiation detectors. Finding of the fast characterization method is crucial for lowering of the production cost of both types of SiC devices.

During our exchange visits, we will strive enhancing the exchange of academic and culture knowledge and we will also discuss future cooperation and development of research initiatives and networking leading to long-term scientific collaboration and about the submission of the joint international project to continue future cooperation.

In addition, the exchange of information about research knowledge and experimental skills of our groups will lead to a closer understanding of our joint research capabilities. The results from this seeding project will be used for submitting joint projects and co-authored articles in international conferences or journal papers.

The activity combines two sequential mobilities. Before the first visit, CU will prepare a description of suitable crystal-growth records and related post-growth characterisation, while NTU will specify the inputs and software requirements for a representative modelling task.

Prof. Chung-Wen Lan will undertake an eight-day working visit to Charles University, provisionally planned for late September or October 2026. He will become familiar with the relevant growth, sample-processing, Laue-characterisation and date-registration workflows.

Tomáš Červeň will subsequently undertake a 16-day stay at NTU, provisionally planned for October or November 2026. He will receive specialised training in COMSOL Multiphysics and develop a project-relevant modelling example based on the selected case.

The project aims to establish a new collaboration between the Department of Botany and the School of Natural Sciences (NTU) with the objective of promoting the exchange of academic knowledge and expertise through joint research activities and reciprocal research visits. The project builds thematically on previous initiatives supported within the framework of collaboration with Macquarie University (MQ) and the Universidad de Santiago de Chile.

As part of the existing collaboration, Professor Numerato has been invited to teach the course “Sociology of Sport” at the College of Social Sciences, NTU. NTU is actively financially contributing to this cooperation.

The key objective of the project is to support the teaching mobility of the project team (one Assistant Professor and one PhD student) for the purpose of delivering a series of lectures as part of a block course within the Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes at the NCCU College of Law. The course will focus on EU company law regulation and corporate governance. Interest in this form of cooperation was expressed by the leadership of the College of Law in May 2026.

The purpose of establishing cooperation with the College of Law is to develop a regularly offered block course (on an annual or biennial basis) that will introduce NCCU Bachelor's and Master's students to a key area of European Union law with a significant impact on business activities within the EU and on the inflow of foreign (non-European) investment into the Czech Republic and other EU Member States.

The planned activities include the organization of the 3rd International Workshop on West Slavic Learner Corpora in Prague, the delivery of two guest lectures by scholars from National Chengchi University (NCCU), and the convening of an expert roundtable aimed at further developing cooperation between the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, and NCCU. These activities will also serve as a platform for the preparation of a joint project proposal and the identification of future opportunities for collaborative research and academic exchange.

We would like to continue the current project that we are carrying out within the UAAT-ICU framework, which has been extended until the end of December 2026.

The title of the current project, which we would like to retain if possible, is “Border-crossing and Interaction: The East/West Trans-Cultural Flow of Chinese/Taiwanese Literature and Images Since Modern Times.” We would also like to maintain the current composition of the project team, including the student members involved in the project.
